This is my current masthead for my WIP magazine cover. I have used a variety of methods in it. Firstly, i have a low opacity bullet going through the text. This reflects with my idea of hip-hop music and goes well with this, as well as the bullet hole in my 'G'. The name of the magazine is 'Regul8r' meaning 'Regulator'. I have done this to give it an edgy and angsty feel. The masthead will go well with my target audience, as it creates excitement for them with the bullet and bullet hole, as well as telling them what genre the music is just from looking at the masthead.
